What this service covers

I provide welding services focused on real-world use, whether that means repairing a failed part, fabricating a custom solution, or producing a clean finished piece.

Most work starts with a practical goal:

  • fix what broke
  • reinforce what failed
  • build what doesn’t exist yet

Common jobs

  • repairs to steel, aluminum, or stainless parts
  • brackets, mounts, tabs, and fixtures
  • custom one-off fabrication
  • reinforcing cracked or stressed components
  • small decorative or finished pieces

Both functional and aesthetic work are welcome — the priority is that the result fits, lasts, and does what it’s meant to do.

Decorative & finished work

In addition to functional fabrication, I also take on decorative and finished metal projects where appearance matters as much as strength.

Examples include:

  • custom signs and lettering
  • gates, panels, and decorative inserts
  • tool boxes, trays, and shop fixtures
  • one-off pieces that need a clean, intentional look

Decorative work benefits from careful layout, fit-up, and finishing — and is often paired with plasma cutting, TIG welding, and light finishing to achieve the desired result.

Processes & materials

I work with multiple welding processes depending on the job:

  • MIG – efficient fabrication and repairs
  • TIG – aluminum, stainless, and cleaner finished work
  • Stick – outdoor, structural, or heavy repair situations

Materials commonly handled:

  • mild steel
  • aluminum
  • stainless steel

Mobile welding is available when bringing the work to the shop isn’t practical.

Good fit for this service

This is a good option if you need:

  • a repair instead of a replacement
  • a custom solution from a sketch or idea
  • functional parts with clean execution
  • small batches or one-off work

Urgent or time-sensitive work

Emergency or short-notice jobs may be available depending on workload and scope.
If timing matters, mention it up front and I’ll let you know what’s realistic.

Getting started

To evaluate or quote a job, it helps to include:

  • photos (multiple angles)
  • rough dimensions
  • material if known
  • how the part is used (load, heat, vibration, environment)
