We need not bother with the before images, it was bad, really bad. After cleaning up the damage we were able to fully reconstruct the business end of this bucket and most likely get another ten to fifteen years of hard labor out of it.
Starting with plasma cutting, arc gouging and lots of grinding we reconditioned the bucket for its new steel and teeth.
With the harsh demands placed on this bucket we chose to use a premium dual shield welding wire, typically used in the building of ships and bridges.
It was a dirty repair, but cleaned up nice. All ready for a new set of teeth.
